‘White Cloud’ Calamint is a flowering perennial that does best in full sun. It doesn’t require extra watering throughout the growing season and is drought tolerant once established.

When does it flower? How long does it flower?

‘White Cloud’ Calamint blooms in early summer and can keep going through the fall. I will sometimes trim back old blooms and can get a bit more fresh flowering that way. I do think that the flowers of ‘White Cloud’ are smaller than the ‘Montrose White’ version, but pollinators don’t seem to mind.

How easy is it to care for ‘White Cloud’ Calamint?

Overall score: 10 (very easy). This plant requires almost no work at all. I’ve had it in my yard for 3 years so far and barely do anything to it. It’s not showing any signs of needing to be divided and continues to return each spring with no issue.

Preparing ‘White Cloud’ Calamint for winter

No winter preparation is needed for ‘White Cloud’ Calamint. It can be cut back in late fall, but it’s fine to leave it until the early spring and cut back any old parts of the plant still left.
